OBJECTIVE; I am a very enthusiastic and positive person that looks to further my career with
extended education and to surround myself with people that have the same goals and ambition
that to succeed to a higher level.
QUALIIFICATIONS
I am very much qualified when working with the public when it pertains to any
personal attention that they need. I have been in the beauty industry for 30 years and have
been very successful in all locations that I have lived. I have lived in 6 different states and I have
learned that people just want to be understood and cared for and treated with the respect that
we all deserve and desire. I am a very responsible adult that takes my job as a sense of pride
and does my work to the best of my abilities. I have a friendly approach to people and feel that
I make them have a comfortable and pleasant experience with whatever service that they are
coming in for. My front desk reception skills consist of answering multi phone lines, retrieving
client information off of our computer system, making appointments, and receiving payment
for the services that the client received. I have performed these responsibilities in taking care of
my 12 coworkers to assure excellent experience for their clients, and that their client’s visit
expectations were met.
I have attended multiple hands on workshops pertaining to product knowledge in
color and haircoloring techniques. To name a few, Redken, Iso, Paul Mitchell, Goldwell. The
techniques that were covered highlighting, dimensional color placement, block coloring, and
how to achieve 100% gray coverage. The products that I am currently using are Aquage,
Biomega, and AG line and I truly believe they are an exceptionally product. The past seven years
I have been trained in the RX system skin care line and have performed many facial treatments
in our spa services. I am certified in doing glycolic peels, enzyme peels, paraffin facials, four
layer facials, and hydration facials. I have a strong drive to continue forward with education
pertaining to my career field and strive to put out my best work.

I am presently working at Simplicity Salon where my job duties require me to not only
satisfy my clients expectations of their services, but also to assist my fellow co-workers in either
helping them prepare for their next client or to fulfill the front desk reception area. I am fully
capable of running the reception area which the job description includes: answering multi
phone lines, making future appointments for the clients, filling out new paperwork for each
client that visits our salon, updating our computer file system to assure we have all of the
proper information for our clients, receiving payment for our client ’s services and purchases. I
am a very outgoing person and enjoy being around people and have always been in the service
industry to provide a personal service that people feel confident in your abilities and trust you
with their personal needs.

I formerly worked at Salon Michele’ for 8 years where I was very excited to have
fellow coworkers with the same work ethics that I have for myself and my clients. Th e former
owner decided for personal reasons that she no longer wanted the responsibility of being a
salon owner and made the decision to close her salon. While working there I continued on with
my education to better improve on myself in categories of personal growth, business
management, salon service techniques. The experience that I gained for myself while working
their was at a great advantage for me to extend on my education.

I was very disappointed when I had to leave, reason for leaving was for a military move out of
state.

Master Colorist and Hair Designer in a large modern upscale salon that specialized in Redken
and Matrix products. I was one of the top employees to pu rsue advancement in the Eva Gabor
Hair Extensions. I would love to be able to continue on with hair extensions education.
Salus Total Body Salon, Tucson, Az. 1998-1999
Salus Total Body Salon was an elite day spa that specialized in total body enhancement. My
responsibilities at the day spa were Master Colorist and Hair Designer. I was thriving in my
career when a military move was looked at for a professional promotion for my husband. I
spent my time there trying to produce excellent service for my clients, and to deliver to them
what they wanted.
In all of the salons I have been employed at, I have worked the front reception area with the
responsibilities to answer the phone lines, taking future appointments, and receiving exchange
of money for services rendered. I am very capable of multitasking either behind the chair or i t
being to help assist the front reception area. I feel my work ethics and my outgoing personality
is a bonus in a business that customer service is in great demand to be successful in our career.
