Director, San Fernando Gardens Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles-1995-1999

As a project director, designed and implemented job training and community engagement programs,

created computer training, after school programs, parent involvement and gang intervention and

prevention activities. Implemented pre-employment training programs for youth 14 to 24 with priority

given to those at risk and with low academic achievement levels . Provides for a pre-employment skills

training program for youth aged 14 through 21, with priority given to those who do not meet established

academic achievement levels and who plan to enter the full-time labor market upon leaving school.
