Research Projects
1. DRA excitation using Current Ribbon technique: Investigation of higher order mode
excitation of Cylindrical Dielectric Resonator Antennas (DRAs) using current
ribbon technique. This work also involved design of novel antenna feeding
techniques and their experimental verification.
2. Investigation of Defected Ground Plane structure: First part of this work involved
study of new excitation techniques of cylindrical DRAs using defected ground
plane. Second aspect involved investigation of various feeding mechanism designs
and their verification via experimentation and software simulations.
