WORK HISTORY:

1975-85: Worked foundation and frame at various locations throughout Southern

California, beginning on Rambla Pacifico Rd. in Malibu. Supervised all phases of work

from ground breaking through finish, specializing in hillside work from 1976.

Produced average $750,000 worth of housing, industrial, and commercial or remodel per

year. In 1987 was responsible for $3,000,000 in construction, in 1988 produced

$3,750,000 in housing. Operated Westchester Landscape and Design 1992-95. COO of

Allied Imaging Office Products 1995-97.

In 1991, completed office and conference rooms for the Leonis Adobe Association in

Calabasas. Recreated 1870's mid-Victorian building from ground up, complete with

multi-color wainscoting and antique water closet. Also did contemporary restyle of

facade on ramshackle houses in Laurel Canyon while building technically difficult and

advanced hillside foundation on nearby site. Placed in National AIA Competition

Execution 1985 for hi-tech contemporary interior.

JOBSITES:

1985 TO PRESENT: Licensed as general contractor, continued specialty remodeling and

foundation work on single family dwellings in the Hollywood Hills, Malibu, and San

Fernando Valley at various addresses. Also did tenant improvements for high end

clientele from Maxim’s Beverly Hills to Liz of Paris. Functioned as Chief Consultant on

commercial and industrial construction, TI, and structural upgrades, 1991 through

present. Most recent, General Manager of Pastrana Construction, Big Valley Concrete,

Los Angeles, to reform, rebuild company operations, 2013.

Grading and drilling; caisson and grade beam, concrete and slab form and pour; all

phases of framing, electrical, plumbing, air conditioning layout, rough and finish;

estimation, scheduling, cost analysis; Hi-tech steel beam construction; underground and

landscaping, high concept structure, tilt up structure, limited access and time pressure

projects.
