Over the past 2.5 + years I have learned the process of liquid and dry goods packaging . The general preventive maintenance, setup, and repair . When I started I was bottling high viscosity creams, shampoos and lotions in plastic bottles for 7 months( fillers, cappers, labelers, printers, box makers, box sealers and carton making machines also learning the basics on tubefillers ) . Then the opportunity for day shift arose and I was taught dry
goods, learning the ins and outs of a bag machine line packaging Epson salts ( 2 Viking-Massek pouchers, 2 Yamato Scales, 2 Zippak zipper machines, raw material conveyors 1 ton pallets . 3 cranes, 4 Flexicon augar systems,Scott blending mixer for fragranced product,3 automated conveyor systems, Combi case erectors and tapers and a pallatizer.Responsibilities included setup, daily maintenance, preventive maintenance, work logs, parts inventory setup and ordering through OEM, researching through manuals, writing work orders through the INFOR system, helping lead operators and mechanics 2 nd and 3 rd
shift in training them and packing operator issues daily . Whenever another mechanic on 1st shift was not there My responsibilities were to help out in the other rooms there( cornstarch + Baby powder, dry goods and citrate glass liquid fill, each area had palletizers, conveyors, fillers, cappers, automated case packers, there was one robot anda pasteurizing system, I also took on project work to make production smoother . Previousto that for 12 + years I learned the setup, preventive maintenance, operation and repair ofenvelope machines both open end type and specialty types machines I was involved with
special projects that I was to insure quality and the daily production requirementsneeded( mostly mechanical machinery ). Previous to that I worked at a steel slitter plant fortwo years with machinery that cut up to 30,000 lb. rolls of steel and packaged them forshipping to mostly automotive plants. The other part of my work history was in facility andhotel maintenance fields I have a wide variety of talents, and am a self starter with a greatdeal of entheusiasm for quality and always with a professional attitude and an
understanding for my fellow co-workers needs .
