• Essential Duties as Quality Engineering Utility II :Provide Breaks to the Following Positions- Table
Operator: operate table safely while inspector inspects for defects in carpet roll.
• Lift Truck Operator:Find and locate rolls on re-inspect table and scan roll tickets in Shopflex.
• Re-Inspect Clerk: scan roll ticket into shopflex, key in ticket information for shopflex
• Lead Inspector: Inspect carpet for yarn,backing, or any other defect that needs downgraded or
removed from carpet roll.
• Clean Up Duties: Everyday, assist in sweeping and blowing out lint, during and after the end of the
shift. As needed remove scrap from the re-inspect area, weigh, using the MRM system print a label
to place on the scrap being weighed. Take the scrap to designated area under the coater to be bailed,
or load onto the trailer designated for long scrap.
• Using the Corporate Quality Side match Procedure. Assemble the side match cuts for review.
• Assist/back up Lab Technician. Flame testing, yarn testing, and data entry for results. Proficient with
Microsoft, Shaw Glink, Shopflex.
