Accountabilities & Responsibilities:-

Accounts :-

. Day to Day supervision of accounts, including GL maintenance.

. Preparing quarterly cash flow prediction with adequate inputs from

department.

. Ensuring entries are coded correctly

. Monthly GL Reconciliation.

. Payroll processing & calculation of employee taxation and auditing of

employee tax documentations.

. Monthly reporting of profitability within 5th Business day of the month.

. Providing technical assistance to Junior Staff as & when required.

. Yearly accounts finalization and facing audits.

. Fixed Asset Accounting & Maintenance of Registers.

. Preparation of Invoices.

. Through review of vendor invoices and advances including ensuring proper

approvals as per authority matrix as applicable.

. Regular reconciliation of payments and advances including staff advances.

. Assisting Finance Manager in various issues.

. Monthly closing of Accounts & overall administration in PeopleSoft

Software

Direct Taxation

. Vetting & Filing of all quarterly TDS returns

. Computation & Filing of Yearly Income Tax Returns, including MAT

Calculation, if applicable.

. Handling assessments of Income Tax, TDS & other Tax matters, if

applicable.

. Handling entire transfer pricing audit

. Liaisioning with the Consultant, Auditors.

Indirect Taxation :-

. Maintaining Service Tax registers & reconciliation of the same with

accounts, on a monthly basis

. Preparation & filing of service tax returns on timely basis.

. Payment of Service Tax.

. Ensuring correct taking of cenvat credit as well as scrutinizing of

vendor invoices to check for procedural aspects

. Ensure all procedural compliance in respect of service tax is adhered to.

. Good Practical Knowledge about Excise, VAT & Central Sales tax.

Commercial :-

. Verification of Client purchase orders

. Calculation of Project Profitability.

. Providing meaningful and correct analysis of time usage on a weekly basis

when required for financial reporting.
