Position: Assistant Curator/Hostess

Job Responsibilities: Meet and greet customers and to make sales. Helping with the inventory of all Art coming in to the Gallery and going out. I also help with rearranging Art work for each month for the First Friday with the Arts. Keeping the Art work fresh and rearranged. Sweeping and dusting. I call the Artists to remind them of monthly meetings and events coming up. I also drive the CCC van to and pick up Artists who do not have transportation. I assist with setting up and tearing down for Art classes and special events.

Position: Manager

Job Responsibilities: I started out on the midnight shift cleaning, cooking breakfast and giving medications to 26-30 clients and all that goes with that. I was then switched to day shift and then from there I advanced to one position to another until I was managing both facilities and lived on the premises. I was on call 24/7 and had a pager attached to my hip. I had protective oversight of the clients. At the time I also wrote Nurses notes and summaries. With the help of my staff I never got a deficiency on the things that I could control. I handled the finances of the clients and their Medical records. I trained new employees and conducted "In Service" meetings to educate employees on geriatric health and on mental illnesses. I also took clients to pychiactric and medical appointments. This is not all that was in my job description I am sure. I filled in every position possible when someone was absent. From cooking to the laundry. I wore many hats.
