Prepares, disinfects, test, assembles, sterilizes, package, and distributes a variety of supplies,

instruments and equipment to be used in patient care, process incoming supplies and

equipment, collect used equipment and case carts for decontamination, operate steam,

gas(e.t.o) and sterrad sterilizers, prepares and issue sterile equipment and supplies to the o.r,

as requested, monitor and maintain sterilization records to keep in compliance with acceptable

hospital and agency standards of quality.
