Product Engineer/R&D Manager
* Managing the development of Flatbed, Dry-Van Trailer and Containers designs, establishing engineering planning as well as directing prototype build/test before mass commercial production.
* Creating general assembly, assembly, and detailed drawings for mass production in CAD (Solidworks, AutoCAD).
* Responsible for R & D activities including quality improvement for Flatbed manufacturing and devising manufacturing methods for mass production and engineering guidance in mechanical design criteria as well as technical specification.
* Coordinating 3D design standardization and new 3D design process development for Flatbed and Dry-van trailer's product development and conducting standardization project management in conjunction with the ERP system in SAP.

* Designed and managed the production of the Automotive Body Welding Line (JIG/Fixture/Equipment)
* Created general assembly and detailed drawings in CAD (Solidworks, NX, Catia, SolidEdge, AutoCAD) and created 3D models and simulations.
* Developed a patent for the Wheel House Roll Hemming System, Magnet Accumulated pallet system.
* Worked in collaboration with external drawing subcontractors on equipment design and managed external prototype vendors for parts fabrication and production.
* Supported installation and piloted several large projects in Korea, China, and Japan including top clients such as GM-Daewoo Motors, KIA Motors, Chongqing Motors and notably developed a new 2D/3D design process for General Motors.
