Recent Experiences:
Board Plant Lead Man, Custom Building Products 11/2014 – Present
I am responsible for increasing and maintaining overall efficiency throughout the board-plant. I am
involved with the training, coaching, and nurturing new hires. In the event that any board-plant employee
is unable to work, I cover the vacant slot. I am also involved with conducting the monthly inventory and
generate daily scrap ratios.
Batch Room Operator, Custom Building Products 8/2013 – Present
I simultaneously operated two machines that mix raw materials needed to make cement backer board. I
utilized my visual ability and basic math skills to insure that final mixtures have the materials needed to
make the company’s product. I used hand tools and logic to set up and troubleshoot both machines. In the
event that either machine did not properly weigh or mix the necessary ingredients, I alleviated the
situation by adding and/or mixing the ingredients by manually operating the machinery.
Formline Screed Operator, Custom Building Products, 10/2013 – Present
I manually set up and maintain the formiline rough and finished screed box; observe distribution of
aggregate and adjust the machine’s settings and/or material flow.
Board Plant Dump End Machine Operator, Custom Building Products 6/2013-9/2014
I prepare wonder board for shipping by visually inspecting the board for any defects. If the board is
sound, I then band and shrink wrap the finished board.
Group Facilitator/Research Analyst, Greater Bridgeton Family Success Center 5/2013- 8/2013
During my internship with the Greater Bridgeton's Family Success Center, I worked closely with the
organization's staff, volunteers, and Fathership support group members. I analyzed and compiled research
to enhance the Fathership support group; during my role as group facilitator, I divulged relevant findings
to group members. Methodologies I discovered, shared, and discussed at length included but were not
limited to: co-parenting methods, stress coping techniques, dealing with alcohol and drug dependency,
estranged father reintegration, and the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Student Worker/Office Assistant, Cumberland County College 9/2011- 6/2013
Answered phones and transferred calls, greeted clients and directed them to the correct staff member,
faxed, scanned and copied documents, maintained office filing and storage systems, retrieved
