l Plant Manager/Production Supervisor, reporting to Operations manager for Bosch US30 in Charlotte, NC. Responsibilities included managing all day-to-day operations for Bosch US Cut and Distribution plant in La Verne California. Oversaw all production from cutting, inspection, and packaging to shipping; all invoicing and daily reconciliation and journal entries. Responsible for inventory and cost controls at the La Verne plant, implementing a companywide program performing daily, bi-weekly or monthly cycle processes opposed to 3-4 day mandatory plant shutdown. Accountable to annual budgets and plant/cost savings and incentive programs. This included maintaining a minimum of $30,000 year cost savings that involved periodical analysis of plant operations, machinery, personnel, and transportation costs. Implemented a 5-S program at the La Verne plant. Initiated a LEARN program within the plant that emphasized Listening – Express ideas – Ask – Respect – Nurture ideas. Implemented Green Initiative programs and recycling programs including Salvage/Recycling of all plastic, paper products, pallets and other shipping materials. Recycling of all e-waste, cartridges for printers, copiers and other office supplies, in house shredding for disposal of confidential documents and voluntary recycling of cans, plastics and other paper products; Environment Program included Hazard Communication Plan controlling hazardous materials and disposing of Used or waste oil and other chemicals. Responsible for all safety and OSHA requirements, in addition to receiving plant recognition for over 3,000 days without an OSHA recordable incident.
l Managed and supervised the distribution, shipping and receiving of the Aluminum Framing division for the Bosch Rexroth’s Buchannan, MI plant reporting to the Operations manager. Took responsibility for their plant on-time delivery and customer satisfaction requirements to insure compliance. Implemented cost savings programs, Environment programs and focusing on overall plant improvements.
Salary history started at 52k per year and ended at 62k per year.

l Production Coordinator: August 1983 – January 2000. Direct report to President providing all shop related activities and monitoring plant efficiencies. Supervised over 60 plant employees, holding responsibilities in hiring of all shop employees, and performance reviews. Held purchasing responsibilities for all shop tools machine supplies, and maintenance for all machines. Company Safety Coordinator for four years overseeing company and employee safety and OSHA compliance.
l Quality Control/Assurance Supervisor – August 1982 – August 1983. Supervised all First Article inspection of shop jobs and monitored production floor and final inspections processes.
