To whom it may concern:
I saw from Glassdoor that you have a position open for an executive assistant. I am very interested in
this position, and believe that my education and employment background are appropriate for the
position. I am extremely competent, and will be an asset to any high energy organization.
My most recent employment was at the Contra Costa Superior Court, where I was a Court Clerk for
over two years. I worked primarily in the civil department, and also was trained on the probate and
appellate divisions. I processed all paperwork for civil cases, including opening new cases,
determining whether a document should be rejected or filed, and setting trials or hearings as required. I
also was in charge of the calendars of all 5 civil judges.
I am friendly and helpful, and love answering questions that either internal or external clients may
have. I also have a proven ability to be able to handle a large workload- I efficiently handled over 150
claims at any one time at Farmers Insurance, where I was an insurance adjuster. I learn quickly, am
upbeat and cheerful, and I ensure my work is consistently of the highest quality, to the last detail. I
reliably resolve every task with the company’s bottom line and common goals in mind. My
communication skills are excellent, and I return all queries promptly and fully. I have strong computer
skills, especially in Microsoft Office. When my last temporary job term ended, I had several vacations
planned, but I am now available to work full time immediately. In the meantime, I am working
seasonally in retail.
Thank you very kindly for your consideration, and I look forward to scheduling an interview.
Sincerely,
Jamie L. Bach
