include creating staff trainings, delivering state mandated trainings for potential foster parents, mentoring new staff

As resource specialist, assisted in program development and planning for family events, support groups and student
activities for enrolled youth of the Young Warriors program.
Southwest Network - System of Care Manager /Lead/Trainer Mesa, AZ 2008-2010
As team lead supervised team of high needs case managers who work with children and families in the behavioral
health system. Responsibilities included assisting families and teams in assessment of needs, utilization of strengths,
discovery of community resources, creation of safety, service and crisis plans and collaboration with fellow team
members. Other duties included payroll processing, monthly productivity reports and creation of training curriculum
and team building exercises.
As trainer responsible for creating and delivering curriculum, partnering with families, leadership and staff to assess
training needs to modify material accordingly. Additional duties were to partner with contracting agencies in our
community to ensure continuity of care and quality assurance for families.
As system of care manager provided supervision of four teams of case manager and their team leads. Responsibilities
included coaching, technical and emotional support to staff and families, creation of monthly productivity reports,
collaboration with leadership to ensure quality of care, Partnered with community and family members to discover
interventions and supports that would best serve families according to individual assessment of needs and capacity and
to provide support to reach goals, manageability and independence.
Marc Center of Mesa - Coordinator Mesa, AZ 2008
As coordinator worked with eighty providers who supported families in the community and at home with rehabilitation
and respite service in order to foster independence and avoid out of home placement of family members with
developmental challenges. Worked with teams and families to assess needs, create service plans, and determine the
best care according to the unique situation of each family. Other duties included hiring, payroll, processing service and
usage reports and coaching and supporting the providers who supported family members.

As yoga instructor taught Yin and Hatha classes.
Child and Family Support Services – Coordinator/Educator Tempe, AZ 2005-2007
As educator worked with youths and families by supporting through partnering with one another, utilizing resources of
individuals and their communities, underscoring competencies, nurturing strengths, clarifying challenges, and
collaborating with families’ teams to assist in achieving goals and acquiring independence.
As coordinator supervised various teams of educators providing support, assistance in the creation of service and crisis
plans, monthly team building activities and performance evaluations for staff and teams, created monthly productivity
reports to leadership, provided consistent communication with parents to ensure quality of care and review of goals. In
this role other duties were payroll, training of staff and feedback to leadership regarding training needs, review of the
effectiveness of documentation, employee incentive programs and employee retention.
As coordinator also volunteered and assisted in co-creating a young women’s’ group which focused on self care, self
esteem building, community awareness and involvement and various other activities which allowed young woman role
modeling opportunities, peer relationships, self care techniques and awareness and stress relief.
Empact Suicide Prevention Services - Case Manager Tempe, AZ 2003-2005
As FSP provided coaching, mentoring and support to youths and families based on identified needs in service plan
through the Child and Family Team process while being mindful of each family’s culture, community and individual
capacities and goals.
As high needs case manager facilitated Child and Family Team meetings, co-created appropriated documentation such
as service, safety and crisis plans, submitted regular progress notes, collaborated with community to determine
resources for families and worked with families to determine goals, solicited feedback from families and teams
regarding the quality of care delivered.

healing plan for clients based on the understanding that one surrenders to their individual and authentic healing path.

in emotional and physical healing
Radiant Child Yoga Program (20 hours) 2006 – Study of how yoga may assist children of all ages to relax, feel
confident, and maintain a sense of joy. This course also reviewed benefits to children with special needs.
SWIHA Yoga Teacher Training (200 hours) 2005- Study that went in to depth regarding the practice, and origin of
yoga, and assisted students in self exploration and the practice of mindfulness.
