Work experience as designer

AS A FREE LANCER: Have been designing for firms or clients requirement for past 10years, in different parts of India. Keen interest in innovative Indo-Western design.

DESIGNED FOR FASHION SHOWS: Dress designed for fashion shows while studying in IIFT, was published in `Women’s Era ‘and` Grihashobha ‘magazines.

CO-ORDINATED SHOWS: Co-ordinate fashion shows during teaching in GCC. Designing and conceptualizing choreography for KVIC `Khadi show’ by students of GCC, won first prize. Also coordinated YMCA fashion shows.

VISITING DIFFERENT PLACES: Husband being an air force officer, got opportunity to visit different places of India, specially Rajasthan and Bengal, and to know the culture art and handloom works of these places, which inspired me in designing garments.
