Description:
In this project, design a resonant converter in direct AC-AC
conversion. The converter can operate with zero-voltage switching
during both turn-on and turn-off commutations. Efficiency is improved
while the power device count is reduced. The usual operating frequency
is 20 kHz to 100 kHz. The design is implemented in MATLAB SIMULINK
and the results are presented the prototype is implemented using PIC
microcontroller.
