. Pediatrics

Spent a year caring for children between the ages of 0-12 with medical, surgical and orthopedics

conditions such as asthma, hydrocephalus, mental retardation, fractures, Down syndrome and so on. Children

with special needs, requiring vent care, trachea care, gastrostomy care etc

. Female and Male medical

Spent a year and half caring for females and males between the ages of 13 and over including elderly with

medical and psychotic conditions on a medical/psychiatric floor. Medical conditions include DM, Heart Failure,

HTN, CCF, MI and so on. Also care for clients on psychiatric floor including Bipolar disorders, schizophrenia,

substance abuse, alcohol withdrawal and son on.

. Female and Male surgical

Spent a year caring for females and males between the ages of 13 and over with surgical intervention,

preoperative and post-operative care such as appendix, intestinal obstruction, fractures, cerebral concussion etc.

. Operating Theatre

Spent a year caring for patients preoperative, during surgery and postoperatively. Also act as scrub and

circulating nurse during surgery such as laparotomy, C-section, hernia repair, TURP and so on.

. Accident and Emergency

Spent a year and three months in casualty where I care for clients in accident scenes, client requiring

prompt treatment e.g. heart attack, asthmatic, puncture wounds, and so on. I also care for patients requiring first

aid treatment and CPR

Care for individuals in their home with special needs, assisting with adls like shower, dressing, reminding to take

medications, repositioning and supportive care
