Objective

Summary of Qualifications
Over 25 years experience in Broadcast Technical Operations, working as a
Broadcast Systems Engineer/Technical Production Manager. In the early part
of my career, I have worked for the US Navy as an electronic technician, an
arena company (sports complex), a mobile broadcast company and a digital
satellite broadcast company (Direct TV). My titles have ranged from a
video technician to broadcast engineer.
My responsibilities during my naval career included; maintenance radar &
communication equipment, the management, operation and maintenance of our
shipboard radio & television broadcast system. As for the other companies,
my responsibilities included maintaining video broadcast equipment (i.e.
switchers, routers, tape machines, audio mixing boards, communications
systems, DVE's, cameras etc Some of my associate responsibilities were
working with IT departments on network systems that supported equipment we
maintained.
I worked for Turner Broadcast Systems, AEG: Staples Center, Home Depot
Center, and Barclays Center in a freelance capacity, and Fox Digital a
division of Fox Television. The Staples Center, Home Depot Center and
Barclays are sports complexes that handle aside from sporting events,
concerts, award shows, film & television shoots. At these facilities, I am
responsible for; maintaining video broadcast equipment for the video
production room and its associated equipment spaces, the in-house cable
system (CATV), coordinating with multiple media entities to meet their
broadcast requirements, coordinating with home and visiting
teams/organizations as to their requirements for event day productions and
supervising crew personnel. With Fox Digital, which is the technical
division of Fox Television, my responsibilities are maintenance of video
broadcast equipment (as outlined above); our in-house cable system
(MATV),and coordinating with field production units for inbound broadcast
feeds. Throughout my career I have covered system/equipment maintenance,
technical coordination of broadcast productions, supervision junior/crew
personnel and maintained a general understanding of IT systems. I am now
looking forward to moving to that next level, technical management. My
experience, education and personal attributes are fully supportive of that
advancement.
PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Assisted in the facility move of Turner Broadcast Systems/CNN America
facility move from Penn Plaza to Time Warner Center
Assisted in the move of the Fox Television Facility from our Hollywood
location to the West Los Angeles location on the Fox Studio Lot.
Assisted Project Coordinator with the broadcast technical production
requirements, during the development of the Staples Center located in Los
Angeles, CA.
Assisted Project Coordinator with the broadcast technical requirements
during development of the Home Depot Center, Sports Complex located in
Carson, CA. This is the newest addition to the AEG (Anschutz Entertainment
Group) family of sports facilities. This facility opened in June of 2003.
Technical Coordinator at Staples Center for the Grammy's for all television
& media entities (i.e. CBS, MTV, VH1, Access Hollywood & various
international companies) during years of 2000, 2001 & 2002.
Technical Coordinator at Staples Center for the 2000 Democratic National

I supervised television and video production teams both in studio and on
location while working with NMT mobile production units on various sporting
and entertainment events. This general consisted of 15 - 20 technical crew
members.

My experience with TCP/IP it is not extensive, I am capable of setting up
and configuring equipment running on a IT platform, work with routers,
switches and network configuration. My access and work with this area was
limited to the equipment I work with, broadcast systems, all of which run
on a IT platform.
