JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITY

. Assessment of vital sings

. Connecting the patient to monitors as per the conditions

. Inserting I/V Canula

. Starting I/V Fluids & for blood Transfusion if needed

. Administration medication as per instruction through various routs

like intramuscular, subcutaneous, intra dermal & Intravenous etc.

. Taking ECG.

. Drawing blood/urine/sputum/stool sample for investigations.

. Maintaining Records & Reports.

. Taking ABG & Evaluation of reports.

. Inserting of NGT & NGT feeding.

. Suctioning-oral Endotracheal Tube & Tracheotomy Tube

. Oxygen Therapy.

. Giving Bed Bath, Back care & Posting the Patient.

. Maintain intake & output charting

. Assisting Doctor & for various procedures like Pleural taping,

Abdominal Tapping, Intra Costal/Chest Drainage tube insertion, Centre

venous catheter insertion, Tracheotomy etc.
