Political and Cultural Expert, Makeen Tech Corporation, Baghdad, I raq, 2006 - 2007
In my time as a Political and Cultural expert for Makeen assigned to Camp Liberty,
Baghdad, I raq, I quickly gained the knowledge necessary to provide mission commanders
w ith the required information concerning the current political and cultural impact upon the
environment in I raq. I had access to a detailed database of the I raqi politician profiles, the
religious leader profiles, the background of the political parties in I raq, and the background
of the ongoing conflict in I raq. I fi rst began studying I raqi history and the political
environment in 1990 during OPERATION DESERT STORM. This experience has enabled
me to study a detailed database highlighting the events that has t ranspired over the past 15
years in I raq to give me a better understanding of the cultural and political environment in
I raq, which gives me the knowledge to provide mission commanders with an unbiased
assessment of the current events t ranspiring in I raq.
