WORK EXPERIENCE
• Afren C.A.R. (company appointed representative), responsible for overseeing
and implementing a safe working culture of the operator Mercator Offshore
(Nigeria) PTE LTD. Actively involved in the commissioning of the Veer Prem
MOPU (Mobile Offshore Production Unit) to obtain first oil. To mentor and train
Nigerian counterpart C.A.R. Compile daily / monthly reports and submit the
same to management / investors. Ensure total compliance with all
environmental aspects to local regulations. Responsible for all operation’s
within the Ebok field as PIC including drilling / construction & tanker off take
operations.
• O.I.M. of F.P.F. (Floating Production Facility) Agbani I had responsibility of the
day to-day operations and safe running of a 50,000bpd capacity Floating
Production Oil facility offshore, with a crew compliment of 48 persons.
Establishing objectives and monitoring of KPI reports. Ensuring compliance
with HSEQC rules. Act as overall authority on PTW. Maintain a safe work
culture within the facility. Liaise with support managers to ensure production
uptime is maximized.
• F.P.F. Agbani Mechanical Supervisor, I was in charge of power generation and
pumping equipment, rotating machinery & general maintenance. Also
compliance with the Planned Maintenance system operated onboard, and
responsibility for the National Mechanic’s and Motormen crew.
• F.P.S.O. Knock Taggart Mechanic / Lead nightshift operator, I carried out safe
operation of plant, and preparation of reports and records. Mechanical
maintenance and repair of plant equipment combined with planned preventive
maintenance schedule.
• E.P.F. Swamp Queen Mechanic responsible for the implementation of planned
preventive maintenance, repair and service of all generators / pumping
equipment / air compressors and Reverse Osmosis plant.
• Workshop Supervisor, with FRA Serco working within the confines of a Military
establishment engine repair shop. I carried out full strip, examination and
rebuild of military helicopter Rolls Royce engines, to the rigorous and
demanding high standards as required by the military.
• Naval Air Mechanical Engineer, Royal Navy. Trained to work on various
aircraft, both fixed wing and rotary. Qualified to carry out flight servicing,
maintenance and fault diagnosis on a variety of fixed and rotary wing aircraft.
