sourced with equities and derivatives trading data from various interface

reports. These reports assist them in handling the confirmation and

settlement of Derivative trades.

Project Description

American International Worker's Compensation System ("AIWCS") is a workers

compensation policy issuance system which is designed to perform quoting,

issuance, renewal, endorsement and auditing of policies.

AIWCS is validating the State, Major class and Company combination present

on the policy against the existing MIS104 table (Licensing table).CAPRI

licensing team has come up with more accurate and licensed combinations

along with certificate effective and expiration dates. Effective 05/01/08,

AIWCS should validate the State, Major class and Company combination

present on the policy against the new CAPRI Licensing table (MIS104C) along

with certificate effective and expiration dates. In addition, Major Class

Codes for TRIA and DTEC Plans will be changed effective 07/01/08 for

Monopolistic States with Stop Gap Coverage.

Project: AIG-AIWCS 999 Split Changes

Project Description

AIWCS compiles all the policy transactions booked and loads the data into

the GREEN Database ("GDB") on a daily basis through a nightly batch

process. Other Customer applications such as Workers Compensation Bureau

Reporting and Compliance ("WCBRC"), Specially Workers Compensation and

Premium Audit fetch data from the GDB for reporting, claims processing and

auditing purposes.

During the audit process in AIWCS, splits are generated. 999 is one of the

splits and it contains summary transactional data. Currently, 999 split

data is maintained in AIWCS and is passed to Central Reporting System

("CRS") for booking purposes to ensure proper state allocation of premium

for tax and assessment purposes. 999 split data is not currently being sent

to the GDB, as they are not required for Workers Comp. Policy

administration ("WCPOL") or unit statistical reporting. WCBRC requires the

999 split data also in the GDB as part of the AIWCS GDB nightly batch

process for financial reporting purposes

Project Description

American International Workers Compensation System ("AIWCS") is a policy

issuing system. It supports issuance of policies for both Voluntary and

Assigned Risk Market Types in Worker's Compensation and Ocean Marine Lines

of Business ("LOB").

In AIWCS the premium calculation is determined by the process of Rating.

During rating many Rating plans get applied on the policy resulting in an

increase /decrease in the premium. One of such rating plans is the General

Outstanding Rating Plan. This plan is applicable for many states currently

including the state of New York ("NY"). NY State Bureau has mandated

certain changes to the current behavior of the General Outstanding Rating

Plan. AIWCS application needs to be modified for these changes to take

effect.

American International Workers Compensation (AIWCS) Maintenance is

Functionally divided into three modules: Rates Maintenance, Production

Tickets and Maintenance Release. In Rates Maintenance, business requests

like changing the Rates for class codes, discontinuing and adding

Phraseologies of class codes, discontinuing and adding the Forms,

discontinuing and adding the Plans, changing the exclusions and inclusions

for Plans will be processed.

Production tickets team will handle the requests that are sent by end-

users. Maintenance Release team will analyse and provide estimates for

upcoming enhancements. In addition, minor code changes are also handled as

part of Maintenance Releases.
