i. Liasing and meeting with clients at the following companies: ExxonMobil, Sol

i. Setting up the office when Aivepet first began operations in Trinidad in 1997
as Aivetrin Limited
ii. Recruitment and training of all staff, implementing systems and procedures
iii. Accountable for the profitability of the Trinidad business.
iv. New business development.
v. Full responsibility for operation and administration of the Trinidad office
including operations in the Caribbean territories of Guadeloupe, Martinique,
St. Lucia, Barbados, Guyana and Suriname.
vi. Liaising with clients (listed above) on all jobs, generation and completion of
updates and final reports including invoicing, billing and payment
reconciliation for all jobs
vii. Liaising with the Caracas Head office on strategic planning as well as
accounting and finance matters pertaining to the Trinidad office.
viii. Preparation of company’s financial accounts, tax documentation ie NIS,
PAYE, VAT and expense / cashflow reports.

Responsibilities included:
i. Coordinating the daily activities of the St. Croix office and liasing daily with Hess
Oil, St. Croix and other clients
ii. Performing independent inspections of shipments at this Hess Oil facility.
iii. Performing inspections on Saudi Arabian Crude Oil Loading & Discharges at Hess
Oil St. Lucia as well as conducting end of month inventory exercises at this facility.

Aruba. This included independent inspections on behalf of Saudi Petroleum, as well
as Lighterings in Aruba's off shore international waters.
iii. Member of Court Appointed Oversight Committee in Aruba and coordination of ITS
Caleb Brett's staff in discharging their functions as outlined by the committee. This
committee was appointed to monitor the activities of Wickland Oil Aruba, the subject
of criminal and civil charges. The charges were brought by Coastal Aruba. (now
Valero, Aruba)
