Good morning,
The accompanying resume is in response to your recent advertisement for
Plant Manager in Toronto.
After graduating from Mechanical Engineering at Queen's University I joined
Chrysler for 10 years; the majority of that time in Tier 1 Manufacturing at
the Brampton Assembly Plant but also as their TPM Development Lead for
Canada (Chrysler's version of TPS). Since then I have continued to develop
my leadership and industry knowledge with Magna International, material
handling and warehousing with Rigo Lift, logistics and distribution with
Ceva Logistics, and most recently project management and business
development with Hermanns Contracting - all with full PnL responsibilities
ranging between 40-80M. In each of those roles I helped organization grow
and get stronger through my high-involvement Leadership and Continuous
Improvement skills in both Unionized and Non-Unionized environments.
I am pursuing another Plant Manager/General Manager role in manufacturing
with a company that is committed to growth and process improvement as well
as business development. I know that my proven leadership, PnL experience,
multiple industry knowledge base and high-energy, high-involvement
communication/leadership skills are a good match for your search.
I would like to thank you in advance for your consideration and I would
enjoy the opportunity to discuss this position and my qualifications with
you.
Respectfully,
Campbell Piper
