ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

< Shift In-charge of a particular shift of 8 hours in a Siemens and ABB

based automated Continuous Galvanizing Line(CGL), Cut to Length(CTL)

and Col Rolled Slitter(CRS) processes.

< Handling PLC softwares of Siemens STEP-7 and ABB Compact Control

Builder and HMI softwares of WinCC and Wonderware In Touch.

Development of softwares by making changes in PLC programs in Ladder

Logic as well as Functional Block Diagram and troubleshooting any

problem related to software or communication system.

< Singlehandedly undertaken project in CGL with Siemens STEP-7 software

where the air pressure cooling(APC) section (i.e., up pass1, up pass

2, horizontal pass, down pass1 and down pass2) motors were automated

such that appropriate air pressure is applied to the sheet for cooling

after coming out of the zinc pot with respect to thickness of the

sheet, coating amount and line speed by application of PID control.

< Also done a project in Utility section with STEP-7 software for better

supervision over the running conditions of Hot Well and Cold Well

motors through Wonderware SCADA software.

< Handling problems related to Coating Gauge, Steering and Staggering

units in CGL.

< Handling problems related to MIEBACH make Siemens automated Welder

unit in CGL.

< Installation of ACS 800 drives, ID Run of motors and troubleshooting

all types of related problems.

< Maintenance of line equipment's like motor, PCC panel, MCC panel,

drive panel, PLC panel, RIO panel, control desk, control post, DG

sets, field instruments, etc.

< Maintenance of MUKAND make Cranes and troubleshooting all types of

problems.

< Handling inductor heating mechanism of Ajax Tocco make for temperature

control of galvanizing pot.

< Preparing MIS report and maintenance planning for monthly shutdown of

above processes.
