CURRENT JOB PROFILE AT A GLANCE:
As a production planning team member, handling a complete project, beginning from Layout
conceptualization to process finalization, logistics of all the concerned materials, designing
Jigs & fixture, preparation of utilities, placement of all the work/ purchase order and finally
installation and completing the project by commissioning and payments of the supplier.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and build / procure necessary tooling and finishing within budgets (TPM)
Support equipment upgrades (Deprecation policy) from purchase through installation
Conduct cost/benefit analysis (Life cycle costing) for changes to processes and/or
equipment
Support EHS projects in cell
Drive Process Improvement / Cycle Reduction initiatives and drive productivity
(PFMEA)
Ensure processes contribute to a safe work environment
Identify and reduce sources to improve EWT.(Effective working time)

Attend cross-functional quality sessions and track/drive root cause analysis and
corrective actions for Cell issues

SPECIALIZATION:
A) TECHNICAL
• Checking of Hinkai (quality improvement) points of new model using 3d-
simulation software (Process simulation).
• Work balancing of assembly line & sub assembly areas for multi models using
Process designer.
• GA layout preparation for equipment planning using Auto-Cad.
• Equipment installation feasibility checking using Process simulation (Both static
& dynamic).
• Conducting of different phases of new model trial (Design proto, production prto,
mass production trial).
• Work measurement (Time study) using Basic MOST.
• Usage of MDAT (Menards data acquisition tool) for standard time
calculation & productivity monitoring.
• MOST implementation for existing line as well as new line set up.
B) COMMERCIAL
• Price negotiation with suppliers for equipment procurement.
• Purchase order placement, material receipt & payment to supplier at different
phases of project through ERP (Enterprise resource planning) system.

A) AT MARUTI SUZUKI INDIA LIMITED
• Projects in charge of New models( beginning from Layout conceptualization to
process finalization).
• Part of Digital Mock up (DMU) to provide support to R&D for better product
design (Process driven product design concept) to reduce the process cost.
• Budget planning for new model & plan quarter wise investment.

• Productivity improvement at Truck assembly line by 23%.
• Most implementation & line balancing of vehicle assembly line of Model-Alfa (3-
wheeler), hence productivity improvement by 40% at Zaheerabad plant.
• Eliminating of bottleneck stage in primer painting line of load carrier (Model-
Load king) in paint shop. Hence achievement of productivity improvement &
consumable cost saving by 35 rupees/vehicle at Zaheerabad plant.
• In house Design of door stoppers for 3 models in paint shop which were being
used during dip of vehicles in PT &ED booth at Zaheerabad plant. Hence
eliminating of usage of consumables (GI wire) & recurring cost saving.
FOREIGN EXPOSURE:
• Participated in Design Proto Trial for New-Wagon R at M/s Suzuki Motor
Corporation( SMC), JAPAN
• Design validation & Inspection of Tubeless Inflator Machine, at M/s SCHENCK
Rotec, Germany.
• Design validation & Inspection of Engine storage system (ASRS) at M/s
DAIFUKU, Japan.
• Design validation & Inspection of Engine Docking system (Merry go round type-
Friction drive system) at M/s DAIFUKU, Japan.
