Director of IT, reporting to the CFO, I led the IT department through a company-wide
transformation to a centralized management model. Support for a wide variety of
configurations including stand-alone restaurants, on hotel, casino and theme park property.
Key accomplishments include.
• Led POS implementation, consolidating 4 POS systems to NCR/Aloha.
• Opened four new venues. Working with construction, procurement and operations.
• Implemented a BI tool from Mirus, CMG guest satisfaction surveys.
• Led selection process and implemented Menulink and an enterprise gift card program.
• Managed system projects to divest operating units to IMC, one of our franchisees.
Results: Successfully led projects to transform the business from a distributed to
centralized management model, enabling better control of the company.
SMOKEY BONES BAR AND FIRE GRILL, Orlando, Florida 2009 – 2012
Director of IT, reporting to the CFO, I led the IT department, responsible for all corporate and
restaurant systems. Supported and enhanced loyalty programs, guest satisfaction initiatives,
and company-wide cost reductions in food cost, labor and corporate expenses.
Led selection process and implemented online ordering with $750,000 in online sales.
Supported objectives that resulted in a 4%, $5.5m decrease in direct labor.
Developed and implemented a weekly scorecard reporting using MSSQL SSRS.
Led efforts to measure guest frequency and provide key BI insight into guest
preferences. Supported launch of new direct marketing campaign to loyalty members.
Converted from ADP to Paycor, providing $200,000 in annual savings.
