ACADEMIC DESIGN PROJECTS:
Patch Antenna Design:
. Designed and simulated micro-strip patch antenna.
. Successfully designed an antenna based on size, impedance, gain,
efficiency and far field pattern.
. Tested and simulated the design using FEKO.
Implementation of Beamforming:
. Used research knowledge and principles taught in Electromagnetism II
course to implement beamforming algorithm with Matlab.
. Worked with a team member to obtain the algorithm to construct the
signal processing technique that used sensor arrays at transmitting
and receiving of the signals.
. Simulated the results that demonstrated the radiation pattern.
The Invisible Dog Fence:
. Installed and configured computer hardware for testing and stat
collection.
. Worked with a team that established Bluetooth communication with
Arduino microcontroller.
. Designed an Android App that routed the GPS coordinates of a pet
collar.
Electromagnetism II Laboratory:
. Developed skills necessary to analyze and measure radio frequency
systems.
. Worked in a multi-disciplinary team environment building, testing and
simulating radio frequency circuits.
. Calibrate Vector Network Analyzer.
. Gained experience with high frequency equipment (1-10 GHz).
Three Stage Operational Amplifier:
. Theories taught in the Electronics II course were used to design a
stable operational amplifier.
. Successfully designed an OP amplifier based on desired gain,
resistance, output current, and output resistance.
. Tested with Multisim to demonstrate design specifications.
