TEAM LEADER. U.S. Army, Ft. Bragg, NC (2006-07). After returning from Iraq, assumed a supervisory role
in charge of 15 individuals. Trained employees in field artillery skills, and mentored
several associates.
TEAM LEADER & ASSISTANT CONVOY COMMANDER. U.S. Army, Iraq (2005-
06). Excelled in a job which is considered one the most dangerous in a combat zone that
of Gunner and Assistant Convoy Commander. Meticulously conducted the planning
process for future convoy operations including performing route reconnaissance,
preparation of reports, and coordination of rehearsals and training exercises. Maintained
100% accountability of over $1.7 million in property book assets.
Supervision: Supervised 15 soldiers and provided security for civilian contractors.

Trained junior employees and trained them in a wide variety of skills ranging from loading/unloading supplies,
defensive driving techniques, and safety procedures. Trained Iraqi nationals in military and transportation subjects.
Logistics: Transported water, food, ammunition, and personal equipment to bases throughout Iraq. Played a

key role in planning and managing more than 200 convoy operations transporting vital supplies. Prepared reports
related to transportation issues and inventory needs.
Achievements: Played a role in reconstruction and rebuilding of Iraq’s infrastructure through transporting

much-needed supplies of all types throughout Iraq. Traveled more than 30,000 miles on some of the most dangerous
roads in the country. Scored 150 out of a possible 150 at the promotion board.

his Combat Logistics Patrol came under direct attach by enemy insurgent activity. His competence and ability to
perform under pressure ensured the safety of all soldiers and contract drivers.”
GUNNER. U.S. Army, Afghanistan (2003-04). Won the Soldier of the Month Board while
serving with distinction in Afghanistan. Played a vital role in supporting reconstruction
efforts by excelling in security and logistics roles. As needed, acted as a Perimeter Guard
and protected both people and assets while applying my training in counterterrorism and
security. Played a key leadership role on more than 150 convoys which transported water,
food, and ammunition throughout Afghanistan, and became known as a reliable individual
with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Expertly drove a wheeled vehicle.
Received an Army Commendation Medal in recognition of my “technical proficiency,
selfless service, and commitment to mission accomplishment.”
AMMUNITION TEAM CHIEF. U.S. Army, Ft. Bragg, NC (2001-03). Controlled an
inventory of hazardous materials including ammunition while training and supervising up
to 15 people. Participated in live fire training exercises, and emphasized safety throughout
all activities. Expertly maintained radio communications while operating ammunition
trucks and other vehicles.
Highlights of other experience:
WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT. The Tech Zone, San Juan, Puerto Rico (1996-2001).
Became a trusted employee at this business operation in Puerto Rico. Utilized warehouse
equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts to receive and store merchandise. On my
own initiative, reorganized significant portions of the warehouse to make it more efficient.
Coordinated with truck drivers and dispatchers in the process of receiving and shipping
merchandise. Handled responsibilities outside the warehouse environment which included
making bank deposits and withdrawals.
ASSEMBLY LINE SUPERVISOR. Security Plastics, Rio Grande, Puerto Rico (1994-
96). For a manufacturer of plastics products, began employment as an assembly line
worker and rapidly advanced to a supervisory role. Was trained in quality assurance, and
ensured the quality of completed parts. Performed inspections of assembled products in
order to identify defects. As a supervisor, was responsible for more than $250,000 in
machinery.
Trained numerous employees who became skilled machine operators. Gained a basic knowledge of equipment
