As the Contract Administrator, it was my responsibility to evaluate the terms and conditions of the

contract, identify risks and opportunities, and make recommendations for acceptance, rejection or

modifications. In addition, I worked closely with Program Management, Quality, Sales and

Marketing, Engineering, Legal and Supply Chain to analyze and prepare new proposals by

reviewing the statement of work, the technical requirements and the quality requirements to ensure

compliance with contractual obligations. I worked closely with program management, staff and

union members to avoid unnecessary disruptions to the delivery schedules, teamed with

manufacturing to organize the shop flow using Kaizen techniques to improve the flow of parts

through and ensure part availability saving almost 2 hours in production time per unit, participated

in cost reduction efforts for a Contracts ultimately saving the company as much as $2 million

dollars and identified potential risks of $15 million dollars. Assisted in ensuring delivery

requirement were achieved and if not met, worked to develop solutions to rectify the current

situation and prevent future delivery concerns. Developed and presented material to Program

Management and senior leaders. Maintained a positive business relationship with both internal and

external customers. Managed multiple international, commercial and government contracts at the

same time.
