CAREER GOAL: Employment at a golf facility committed to providing quality playing conditions year round.
PERSONAL STATEMENT: I have dedicated my working career to service in the golf course industry as a
member of the crew, assistant superintendent, and superintendent. My interest in this field of work began while I was
in high school. At that time I worked the summers as a member of the crew at the Washington Golf Club in
Washington Connecticut. I continued this summer work throughout high school and college. After college I accepted
an assistants position at the Torrington Country Club. In 1997 I relocated to south Florida in order to continue my
career in a climate that allows for year round work.
I enjoy all aspects of golf course maintenance and feel that over the years my experience has allowed me to become
proficient in them all. I understand that being a good turf grass manager requires a great deal of versatility and am
willing to do whatever it takes to attain the desired results. I know what a well maintained golf course looks like and
the kind of work and dedication it takes to get there. I recently add residential irrigation to my experience by
maintaining the irrigation system for an 800 unit community for the past six years.
