Accounting Assistant
City of Refuge Ministries, INC - Gardena, CA - July 2003 to December 2010
In this position my job consisted of receiving and processing all bills, vendor payments, independent contractor
payroll and weekly donations. I managed all electronic and paper files, sorted all incoming and outgoing mail
for the accounting department. Data entry, answering high volumes of multi-line calls, copying, scanning,
maintaining departmental supplies, composing faxes, letters, memos and mass emails. I also, greeted all
visitors, responded to inquires, scheduled appointments and kept all calendars current, in addition to, light
errand running and other duties as assigned.
Customer Service/Receptionist $12.50/hourly
• In this position my job consisted of greeting and assisting all guests by answering questions and/or
suggesting information about products or services offered, open and maintain customer records by updating
account information and recording customer inquiries, resolve product and/or service problems, answering
high volumes of multi-line calls, responded to inquires, scheduled appointments, and other duties as assigned.
Office Assistant/Receptionist $10.50/hourly
• In this position my job consisted of answering high volumes of multi-line calls, faxing, copying, scanning,
maintaining electronic files, calendars and office supplies, composing faxes, letters, memos and mass emails;
sort incoming and outgoing mail, ran errands for all departments and other duties as assigned.
Production Assistant $10.50/hourly
• This job consisted of assembling various products such as, but not limited to, CD's, VHS and DVD's. Also
shipping, tracking and disbursements of all incoming and outgoing packages. As well as properly stocking the
bookstore with assembled items.
Event Registration Coordinator $10.50/hourly
• This job consists of keeping track and reporting the status of all vendors processing, receiving and managing
confidential information and receiving payments of all types. I assisted with negotiation for space contracts,
booking event space, arrangement of various vendors, ordered supplies, props, and audiovisual equipment. I
ordered event advertisements such as signs, flyers, etc. As well as make travel arraignments, and served as
the liaison between vendors for event related matters. As well as answering multi-line calls, composing faxes,
letters and memos, in addition to managing electronic and physical calendars and files.
OBJECTIVE
My objective is to execute all tasks accurately and on time while creating a professionally pleasant and efficient
work environment for all using the skills I acquired during the pursuit of my Bachelors Degree in Business
Administration at Colorado Technical University-Online.
