American Girl (Mattel) Interactive Design Intern
August - December 2014 Middleton, WI
Returned for a second internship for fall of 2014. Designed interactive
games and activities as well as thumbnails and backgrounds for the
website. Developed some activities in HTML. Found ways to use innovation
and technology to modernize new projects. Organized brand guidelines,
graphics, and etc to allow for quicker findings when designing for online.
Assisted other departments with projects and workload. Also worked on a
digital style guide for BeForever, an American Girl subbrand.

Learned problem solving skills. Went through steps of identifying the
underlying problems and created a process to solve these problems with
design. Also worked on user interface for new touch screens on forklifts.
Youth Marketing Connection

Brand Ambassador
Cincinnati, OH
Promoted adidas throughout the University of Cincinnati campus. Formed
a ‘street team’ to help with tactics. I planned events based on other events
on campus so that we could promote the adidas brand to fans. Using the
materials given, we had giveaways and talked to many fans throughout
different tactics during the semester.
