Purchased the packaging for this aftermarket program. This project was a
contract from Ford Motor; I achieved a $400,000.00 cost savings by
consolidating the two casting suppliers to one supplier for both male and
female castings.

Production Buyer on site a Ford Motor Co. Livonia Transmission Plant, Screw
Machine and Bar turned commodity. MRO purchasing for Ford Motor Co. (North
American Plants), Tooling, Steel, Fasteners, Negotiated with vendors,
Achieved considerable cost savings.
Worked with minority suppliers on the bar turned and screw machine
commodity. Achieved $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00 cost savings by working
with supplier to get there production streamlined and eliminating so much
machine down time, which in turn boosted there production and eliminated
late shipments, line shut downs and a vast improvement in part rejection.

Helped develop an improved maintenance system to cut down time on machines

raw material waste and gave our cutting dies a longer life span.
