I have recently completed the Event Management Diploma Course at CDI College, graduating with honours while
working part time at a flooring company doing administrative work. Since taking this program, I have worked at different
events doing various tasks, these include putting together and distributing marketing materials; greeting and registering
exhibitors, speaker/MC’s and attendees; arranging displays, décor, room set ups and take downs; making appointments;
assisting load in/out; creating menus, gift certificates and name tags; collecting donations for prize draws; and purchasing
all necessary items on a budget.
I have organized end of season sports parties, community social gatherings, milestone birthday/anniversary parties over
ten years, I was part of the CDI College Mississauga Graduation Ceremony planning team and fundraising team for Big
Brothers Big Sisters, as well I worked as a hairdresser for five years.

this extremely fast paced industry. My passion is paying attention to what the clients need/want, going the extra mile to
