Inventory Control: Central Sterile Processing
Responsible for the management of the department, including
planning and organizing to ensuring the provision of supplies
to the departments that deliver patient care.
Responsible for case cart set up for 44 operating rooms and
over 140 cases per day. That includes instruments for Ortho,
Neuro, Vascular, Plastic, Gyn, ENT, and General surgery.
Further responsibilities include monitoring the department's
quality assurance, safety, environmental, and infection
control programs, overseeing and ensuring consistent
sterilization procdures, policies, and products across the
medical center and resolving human resources, employee,
management safety programs, and risk managemt issues.

Inventory Analyst Materials Management
All processes associated with the maintenance of
departmental inventory to ensure optimal utilization of the
institutions' resources. Assigned, directed, and supervised
Material Management staff. Planned and organized the
Supply/Equipment areas according to established par levels.
Coordinated and controlled the inventory of the OR, ANGIO,
ERCP, NEUROLOGY, and SPD. Was in charge of expediting back-
orders and related receiving problems. Also, supervised
product recalls ensuring patient safety. Reviewed and
analyzed the supply levels, existing procedures and practices
with the Unit Coordinator/appropriate personnel.
