Manager, Pediatric Emergency Department

Manage day to day operations of a 17 bed pediatric emergency center. Manage staffing,

scheduling, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations for 43+ FTEs. Responsible for maintaining

unit operations within annual budget. Prepares and submits annual operational and salary

budgets. On call 24/7. Report directly to Assistant Vice President Nursing of Outpatient

Operations. Work very closely with Adult Emergency Department Administrators, Pediatric and

Adult Medical Directors and Trauma Team to achieve and maintain system, divisional, hospital

and unit yearly goals.
