Develop and lead Global Procurement Organization to carry out short
and long term strategies on Global Sourcing, Contract Management,
Procurement Optimization and Finance/Operations Management. Align with
all internal stakeholders (Product Line, New Product Development,
Engineering, Manufacturing and Facilities) to support all spend
activities (Direct and Indirect).
Recruited as a change agent to Support and optimize a Global Procurement
organization in this $1B, well established company where supply chain and

Enhance and optimize Asia Sourcing office in Suzhou, China.
Created Category management structure for Global Procurement to drive up to

Blount Business Leadership Training (or BLT2) Program is a leadership

The Global Category Manager - Raw Materials leads global strategic
procurement initiatives and the management of the full sourcing life
cycle process for all direct spend in the category of raw materials.

Global Materials Planner
Materials planners sometimes work in a manufacturing environment and are a
part of the supply chain. The planner works with the manufacturing
department to determine the resources necessary to meet the production
schedule. The purchasing department and material planners work together to
purchase the needed resources.
Materials planners work with engineering to determine the resources needed
to meet production schedules. The planner often works from bill of
materials to determine the specifications for the parts needed to produce
the product. Workers also monitor inventory levels and coordinate with
purchasing to maintain adequate levels of parts and raw materials to
manufacture the product.
The materials planner requisitions resources through the purchasing
department and monitors scheduled deliveries from vendors. A planner
expedites materials from vendors when there are delays in delivery.
The duty of a materials planner also includes continually working to
improve delivery times, cost and quality of materials from vendors. The
planner works with purchasing to improve performance of vendors and with
engineering for quality improvements.

was the first of its kind in the renewable energy industry that deployed
policies and processes for lock out-tag out as well as protective gear roll
out for arc flash protection. This program is expected to have a 3 mUSD NPV
within the next three years.
