Responsibilities
In Store Computer Repair Tech. We did new computer setups for clients buying a new system. We also did
hardware replacements and upgrades, software installs, virus removal, new computer builds, and in store
instructions on basic computer use. in addition we handled the customer service desk which included product
returns, exchanges, and sales, as well as setting up in home computer and large TV repairs, in home education
classes for computer illiterate clients as well as in home setup of new computer and home theater systems.
at times i would also work the sales floor helping clients find the computer that would best fit there budget
and needs.
Accomplishments
on several occasions i was called to the floor to help with older clients because i was able to speak to them
without seeming like i was talking down to them for there lack of knowledge. I was called in to help with problem
sales and my boss used my talents to save sales when the client was unable to get the info they wanted from
the sales reps or was not getting along with the reps or with management as i was able to maintain my calm
even when a client got mad and would begin to yell.
Skills Used
i hold an A+ in computer hardware and software repair as well as my Linux+ certification and my Microsoft
certifications in Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, Enterprise (several different editions of it,) XP, Vista, 7, and 8. all
of these skills came in handy when doing repairs for my clients in the store due to the wide range of operating
systems and hardware that came into are store. i also have a better than working understanding of Apple
OS and my Unix certification. the only use i made of my Cisco certifications was to help clients pick the best
equipment for there home computer networks.

Responsibilities
assisting customers in helping them find the right product to fit their budget and needs. replenishing stocks of
department merchandise throughout the day. when closing I would help to make sure that the department is
clean and all products on the shelves were leveled.
Accomplishments
during my time with this company I moved from sales floor associate all the way up to department supervisor
by repeatedly demonstrating a working knowledge of current technologies and being able to keep up to date
with new ones as they came out. also continually having demonstrated people and leadership skills that lead
up to my promotion to supervisor.
Skills Used
the ability to interact with people and make them feel at ease my guiding them to the product in best suits their
budget and needs. educating customers as to what each product and eyes so that they could find the proper
items. I also used my knowledge of electronics and technology to make sure that any customer got all of the
peripheral accessories needed to make their products work the best.
