Provided Project and Quality engineering management services for

the 33kV/6.6kV Delga Park substation project at Wandoan QLD, a part

of the QGC LNG program of projects. This included preparation of

Project Execution plan (PEP), work packages, project deliverables

list,' Division of Responsibility' (DOR) matrix, Inspection and Test

plans (ITP) . Was responsible for managing the Civil Design

08/2013-02 Consultant (SKM) and Electrical EPC contractor (SCEE) and Document

-2014 Control of Client's system and GPD's system.

PM Consultant at SVT Engineering Consultant P/L, Perth WA

(1) Successfully delivered the Inpex - Cathodic Protection design

of LNG Jetty project in Darwin under an EPCM delivery model;

(2) Provided PM advisory services for QGC LNG program of projects

-comprising of provision of condition monitoring services for

Compression and Pumping stations ( viz. FCS and CPP) and development

of computer management maintenance system ( CMMS) ;

(3) Project managed the investigation and provision of

cycle mode and converted to combined cycle mode in the second

phase ;

. Successfully managed the detailed engineering phase of BHPBIO

66kV transmission line project ($4M) from South west creek to

Finucane Island and upgrade of five substations for Horizon

Power;

. Successfully completed the Definition Phase Study ($2M) of two

Power generation options for BHPBIO, a 32 MW open cycle gas

turbine plant and a 132 MW combined cycle plant proposed for

RGP 6 with Siemens Gas turbines SGT-800 ;

. Successfully completed the preliminary engineering and design

phase of the 132MW combined cycle plant option ($ 1.5 M) for

BHPBIO in a short duration of four months, complete with

procurement support of long lead items - HRSGs, STG and GTG;

. Successfully managed the Power systems model and study

project($ 2M) for the complete BHPBIO network that captures RGP

4, 5, 6 and 7 network using DigSilent software ;

. Seconded to Horizon Power as Design Manager for Tender

Development and Evaluation of the 100MW OCGT South Hedland

Power Station project comprising of LM 6000 Gas turbines truck

mounted for temporary generation;

. Successfully managed the engagement of service providers Water

Corporation, EPIC and Horizon Power for relocation of their

lines intersecting Hancock's proposed rail infrastructure and

marshalling yards of Roy hill Iron Ore project ;

. Project manage a BHPBIO Brownfield substation project for

replacement of six VTs ($0.5M);

. Project Manage the 132kV FEED design of transmission line from

Chapman station to Port infrastructure for OPR ($0.5M); and

. Successfully managed wind farm development study projects for

major maintenance, replacement, refurbishment and 'Greenfield'

projects ( Capital and Operational) ;

was completed in a record time of 8 months whilst the organization

was going through a major restructure with constraints on limited

resources. Successfully managed multiple contractors who worked at

the power station during the 3 months plant outage with strict

adherence to environmental, safety, quality and heritage policies;

. Successfully completed a state wide crane design registration

project ($ 5M) comprising of 42 cranes requiring compliance with

current Workplace Tasmania requirements. Met all the technical and

scheduling accountabilities. The project was completed ahead of

schedule within 85% of approved budget ;

. Successfully completed the Development, Implementation and

Finalization (DIF) phases of Alternator Fire Protection PLC based

systems ($ 15M) at ten power stations and switched to auto

protection mode. Project completed with numerous scope variations

and frequent changes of project team members;

. The controls upgrade project ($ 1.5M) for Poatina station main

inlet valve #2 required to be completed as a fast track project

with Business case approval in February 2006 and commissioning in

May 2006 (i.e. 4 months time frame). Successfully met the

challenge and worked closely with cross functional Hydro

Consulting engineering and Generation engineering teams to meet

the design and commissioning deadlines. The Machine was returned

to service on time and project completed within 85% of approved

budget ;

. Successfully completed the Concept, Development, Implementation

and Finalization phases of the Paloona station turbine upgrade

project ($0.75 M) with Hydro Consulting and Generation mechanical

and electrical engineering teams;

Responsible for preparation of turnkey EPC proposals ($20-500M) with

company's Utility boiler and environmental equipment for domestic and

international power plant projects. Directed cross-functional departmental

tasks with business development, sales and marketing, engineering,

estimation, accounts, legal, project management, purchase and transport,

field engineering service and construction teams during bid cycle period.

. Led cross-functional team of ten managers and engineers and won a Chinese

power plant contract ($75 M) funded by World Bank;

. Successfully submitted 750MW EPC power project firm price bid for

complete boiler and environment island with Balance Of Plant scope in

record 6 weeks bidding period with minimum resources, to meet company

allocated budget expense;

. Successfully developed competitive optimum priced equipment supply

proposals that met clients' expectations;

. Successfully developed extensive modularisation plan for flues and ducts

and environmental equipment with imported plates and domestic module

fabrication program. Modules were planned for shipment by barges for

reducing construction cost by 20% from that of conventional

'stick built' construction methodology.
