Responsible for accounting & finance, including Corporate Accounting, FP&A, International Accounting and Revenue
Accounting groups. Led multiple projects to put infrastructure in place required to become a public company (IPO).

November, 2010 for twice the value of the original investment.
Sr. Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Hired by the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors to analyze the company’s financial condition, assess alternative
financing options, and drove financial elements of the corporate development package with the Company’s investment bank.
Worked closely with the Chief Executive Officer & investment bankers to prepare and present the Company to prospective
buyers, concluding in a successful investor exit. Responsibilities and projects include:

collections, taxes, treasury and maintenance renewal bookings. Managed ~25 employees. Dotted line responsibility for
EMEA and India Finance organizations and Internal Audit. Responsible for the company’s SOX program, Audit Committee
coordination and relationship with the company’s external auditors (BDO Seidman, LLP).
• Decreased SOX internal testing error rate from 7% in 2007 to <3% in 2008.
• Re-engineered the opportunity-to-cash process and re-organizing Finance function accordingly, resulting in
improved customer satisfaction, increased productivity and improved internal controls.

Worldwide provider of software products and services for the communications industry, including mobile & wireline service
providers and handset manufacturers. Revenues grew from ~$250M in 2003 to ~$400M in 2005. Resigned due to serious family
medical issue..
Corporate Controller
Responsible for worldwide accounting, financial systems, SEC reporting, credit & collections, commissions, and
purchasing. Managed a group of ~35-40 employees. Owner of the worldwide external audit relationship. Active
participant in all Audit Committee meetings. Projects included:
• Implemented numerous process improvements and improving internal controls in order to ensure compliance with
Sarbanes-Oxley / SEC regulations. Efforts helped Openwave pass their initial Sarbanes-Oxley 404 audit.
• Re-engineered processes which were considered a “reportable condition” (material internal control weakness) by
the company’s external auditors for two consecutive quarters prior to my arrival.
