Purchasing Departments.

required to send to all Motor Vessels.

•Translated two tales from Greek into English and Spanish for the children’s book “Cuentos alrededor del mundo” (Tales around the world). The bilingual book forms part of a project to fight children’s poverty, and was published through the collaboration of the NGO ‘Voces’ and the University of Valencia, in Spain.

•Worked with members of the AP for the production of TV news, during the economic crisis in Cyprus:
•Undertook tasks such as updating breaking news and fact-checking information.
•Arranged and carried out interviews and voxpops, as well as co-produced TV news.
•Helped compile lists of information required for the storyline of news, and helped prepare the overall material needed by the AP offices, in London.
•Translated, transcribed and interpreted news, interviews and any other kind of information, from Greek into English while assisting the foreign AP staff with cross-cultural communication and understanding.
January 2013-March 2013, TEDxNicosia Translations and Logistics, Nicosia, Cyprus.
•Worked with a selective group of people to organize the TEDxNicosia events, which were held in
•March and April 2013. I translated press releases from English into Greek and Greek into English, and helped set up the overall schedule. I also liaised with colleagues to help coordinate tasks and promote the events. Our latest TEDxNicosia event took place on the 1st of November 2014.
