* Project managed a Managed Print Services implementation in a 13,000 employee medical center from
inception to steady-state. Very large project with 8-10 FTE staff, extensive experience in conflict resolution,
milestone development, KPI monitoring, managing multiple vendors and achieving financial goals.
* Project managed multiple projects to remediate critical issues in two data centers including real-time
graphic thermal monitoring, airflow management, hot and cold aisle development and containment. Brought
project from needs requirement through budgeting, contracting, build, deployment, testing and use.
* Project managed, designed and implemented high density data center areas for intensive virtualization
platforms utilizing advanced technologies. Solely responsible for entire project from end to end.
* Project managed new data center for research park tenant from concept to delivery and tenant use.
Extracted tenant requirements, negotiated space requirements and relocated existing occupants, worked with
architects, engineers and VARs to build and deliver commissioned data center in under 12 months.
* Project managed development and implementation of the long-term network/telecom infrastructure
development for a major research park, including telecommunications duct banks, data center collocation

facilities and conduit and fiber leasing. This included a detailed conceptualization and planning engagement
with IBM Global Services, through high level planning and budgeting, contracting, licensing, relocating
utilities, and ensuring compliance with environmental and city regulations.
* Project managed implementation of a web-based disaster recovery tool, Sustainable Planner, for a major
medical center automating review and plan modification notifications using automatic feeds from Peoplesoft,
from needs requirement to tool selection to budget to software customization, implementation, piloting and
rollout.
* Directed an $8M/year department including 22 creatives, technicians, customer service and support staff.
Responsible for all aspects including budgeting, financial performance, personnel management and customer

* Founder and chair of a self-funded environmental sustainability committee for major academic medical

Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC April 2010 – July 2014
Project Manager for a managed print services project, converting a 13,000 employee major
academic center, done simultaneously with an Epic implementation, requiring extensive
coordination efforts. This saves $2,000,000 annually as well as providing a newer, more flexible,
more easily serviced print device pool.
Managed the operations of two 5,000 sq. ft. data centers including the project management for
renovations to include aisle containment, real-time, remote graphical temperature display and
control, high density areas with in-row cooling and airflow management.
Disaster Recovery Manager - create, coordinate and supervise the disaster recovery plans for all
enterprise applications. Project manager for implementation of a web-based tool (Sustainable
Planner) to facilitate plan creation and provide automatic notifications of required plan
modifications based on weekly Peoplesoft feeds.
Project manager of telecommunications infrastructure development for a major metropolitan
research park. This involves developing the strategy, building telecommunications duct banks
populated with fiber and leasing dry fiber and ducts to tenants. Negotiate contracts for leases.
