Quality Engineer:
• validate Functionality of Onstar vehicle communication platform (VCP) module covering multi global releases, cellular speeds & protocols
• Ensure VCP Module functionality meets expected quality standards, writing procedures and using define test equipment
• Using quality process to isolate defeats and process errors, report to corresponding business unit for resolution
• Manage APQ role of vehicle component platform from start to finish
• Work with GM legal to develop non-disclosure agreements for utility companies for 2 year Department of Energy / smart grid project
• Track & report individual vehicle data and Report findings to GM Design Engineering for future development
• Develop FMEA, DFMEA, Process maps, Life cycle cost analysis, Material flow chart and other document needed for Launch process. Maintain document control for plant reviews and audits.
Electrical Engineer:
• Validate OnStar modules Vehicle task management for new software/hardware releases, cellular technologies and securities features.
• Identify and document defects in areas of read/write to vehicle bus, Bluetooth, 4G LTE connectivity, audio and speech recognition, radio & instrument display, navigation system and Onstar test & production environments.
• Using OnStar environment and 1500+ Vehicle bus(Chevy Volt) to data collection for government, universities and 30+ utility company.
• Develop mobile robotic trouble shooting station for servo motor, controllers, starters and control panel
Mechanical / Industrial Engineer:
• Manufacturing Engineering projects involved ownership from concept through completion having budgets range $1,000 – $2.7 million
• Managed construction of a $2.7 million office complex to centralize production, maintenance and quality supervision personnel.
• Work with sub-contractor, vendor & suppliers building rapport to complete project on time and budget.
• Streamline client operations and improve overall business functions by defining standards and processes.
