PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Medical Products domain within Aetna is responsible for the rollout of new

products offered by Aetna and the the addition of new features/enhancements

to existing products. Medical Products domain co-ordinates projects across

The Aetna Project Life Cycle (APLC) is Aetna's standard project management

and development methodology. It is an end-to-end methodology that begins

Clinical Technology Business Services (CTBS) is the PMO wing of the UHG-IT

Consolidated Eligibility System is an application enhancement and

maintenance project. The eligibility system houses a broad spectrum of

information such as customer level, member eligibility, member demographics

and benefit plan level information. The system undergoes a cycle of

enhancement and maintenance changes defined by the business needs of

UNIPRISE. The eligibility system plays a critical role in United Health

Groups business as the information stored in these systems is considered as

'source of truth'. The system also interfaces with other United Health

all member and plan level information for all the customers of UNIPRISE.

The system also provides automatic data feeds to the ID card vendors for
