TECHNICAL ACTIVITIES:

> Conducting the Boiler Tube Thickness Survey (TTS) at Starting Panel

/Z-Panel, Water Wall Tubes, Soot Blower elevations and Burner

elevations etc.

> Planning of predictive maintenance based on condition monitoring

techniques.

> Inspecting the Erosion/corrosion at various locations High

temperature zones like water wall tubes, burner side tubes, soot

blower intersections, starting panel, door cooling systems reheater,

and superheater coils etc; guiding proper Shielding for erosion

sections at specified sections.

> Remove and replacing the corrosion, erosion tubes low thickness tubes

with new tubes.

> Supervising and guiding the Non-Destructive Tastings (NDT) for the

Boiler.

(Dye Penetrate Test, Radiography)

> Monitoring and checking the Inspection of Oxide Thickness (IOT)

process at Reheater and Superheater Coils and Divisional Panel.

> PWHT process for different types of tube materials.

> Boiler Drum and Ring header maintenance.

> Finalization of execution methodology & Technical support to site

work execution.

> Burner inspection and shielding.

> Maintaining IBR standards.

> Hydraulic Test preparation for Boiler.

> Organizing and checking the Boiler ceiling arrangement actions for

final tasks.

> Planning and effecting preventive maintenance schedules of various

equipments

> Executing cost saving and energy saving techniques/measures and

modifications to achieve substantial reduction in O&M Expenditures

and work within the budget.

Boiler Scaffolding:

> Supervising the Scaffolding work and its methodology into action of

work in different Boilers.

> Observing and rechecking the scaffolding status for the safety of

work.

> Guiding in the operation of scaffolding platforms for scheduled work.

> Dismantling check outs for the safe removal.

> Planning and effecting preventive & predictive maintenance

strategies, procedures and methods for critical/non critical

equipment in consultation with process team.

> Maintaining the Overhauling Log book as well scheduling also.

execute the works.

> Giving the guidelines to the safety officer for work safe operation.

> Directing, leading and motivating workforce; imparting continuous on

activities, appraising the member's performance & providing feedback.
