operational support. Implemented an interface to the existing Network

Model, in order to leverage improvements.

. TOR (Transmission Outage Reporting): 2006-2012

Improved the Network Model by developing scripts for identifying and

correcting missing and invalid data. Designed and ran ETL PL/SQL

scripts to pull Line Segment data scattered in downstream applications

back into TOR, which improved maintainability and reliability.

. REQ/SOS (Request/Switch Order System): 2004-2010

Acted as Business Analyst and Lead Architect. Provided 24x7 support to

7 Transmission Dispatch Centers and 9 Distribution Dispatch Centers.

Designed and implemented Opportunity Outage scheduling functions which

saved manpower and improved turn-around.

. PJM (Pennsylvania/Jersey Maryland Interconnect): 2002-2012

Acted as AEP's representative in transferring AEP's IS and RTO

(Regional Transmission Operator) responsibilities to PJM. Designed,

implemented and supported an EDI interface to PJM's eDart outage

scheduling system.

. NERC Electronic Tagging: 1997-2004

Acted as AEP's representative in NERC (North American Electric

Reliability Council) conferences to define an inter-utility standard

for EDI of transmission transaction requests. Designed and implemented

an interface between E-Tagging and ISplus, allowing compliance with

regulatory requirements without the need for operator manual entry.

. OASIS (Open Access Same Time Information System): 1996-2004

Worked with OATI to design and implement an EDI interface between

ISplus and OASIS.

. ISplus: 1995-2004

Acted as Business Analyst and Lead Architect, working with ABB to

design and implement an Oracle-based Interchange Scheduling system to

satisfy Generation/Transmission separation as mandated by FERC

(Federal Energy Regulatory Commission) Order 888/889. Acted as

Business Analyst and Lead Architect through numerous upgrades and

modifications based on technical, business and regulatory

requirements.
