Activities and Acquired Experience: New production lines and its correspondent equipment acquisition, installation and approval for
several customers, such as, GM, Chrysler, Ford, VW, Mercedes, Jaguar, etc. These activities included:
Product/production line design analysis along with design engineers at TRW headquarters, MI, USA:
Coordinate project’s initial design/development stages, using SolidWorks Software.

Daily follow-up meetings with customers, colleagues, managers and suppliers.

Conduct Lean Manufacturing project workshops/presentations.

Pilot testing of the production lines, which included:

o Work with Lean Manufacturing Team to optimize production lines.
o Production capacity analysis; raw material and inventory assessments.
o Report pilot test results to plant manager and departmental managers.
Benchmarking, technology scans and internet based research to identify new applicable technology in search of potential
suppliers for the new equipment, nationwide and internationally.
Proposal review and supplier selection. Financial and budget analysis (CAPEX) of new production lines.
Communication and coordination with suppliers: design s reviews and coordinate implementation of production lines.
Communication and follow-up with customers, management staff, related departments and correspondent suppliers through
all different project stages.
Organization and completion of the final project stages:
- Equipment testing, start-up, validation run-off and final acceptance (including visits to plants/suppliers in Germany,
Canada, USA and Mexico).
- Full coordination and supervision of the product line implementation.
- Customer’s approval and acceptance agreement report.
- Delivery of the line to the customer on production floor.
Supervision and support of new production lines, related to any technical issues, after launching (commissioning):
- Managed data acquisition from final product with the Quality Department.
- Training of the production line supervisor, maintenance technicians and launch engineers.
- Provide the necessary support together with the maintenance and info systems depa rtments to production
personnel during official production and troubleshooting.
