Assistant Farm Manager Almarai Poultry Farming
May 2013- Present
Site Location Manager at Al Baraka Breeder Farm.
Responsible for commissioning and start-up of second half of Al Baraka 2
Breeder Farm which now has 550,000 birds in rear and in excess of 800,000 birds
in production. With a target of producing 140 million hatching eggs for 2014.
Responsible for 460 staff, looking after contracts and promotions.
Coordinating accommodation and catering for all staff.
Ensuring bio security is maintained at the highest levels.
Overseeing milling operations on site.
Liaising with veterinary and hatchery staff.
Working closely with international consultants and breed company specialist to
improve overall farm performance.
Continually up-skilling staff to International standards.
2011–May 2013 Senior Unit Manager Almarai Poultry Saudi Arabia
Responsible for the management of 5.76 million birds on site, with prospected
growth to 15 million by 2013.
Involved in the training of Saudi Nationals to become part of Almarai Poultry
farming workforce.
Managing in excess of 250 core poultry staff; General Farm Worker, Foreman,
maintenance staff and supervisors.
Coordinating accommodation and catering for staff.
Liaising with veterinary and production staff.
Also responsible for bio security and feed ordering.
Fully trained in Skov software with responsibility for training, supervisors,
foreman and farm staff in the correct use and utilisation of all Skov equipment
