Accomplishments
I was very hands on and I feel like I brought good vibes to the job. I made friends with coworkers and made it
easier for customers to check out. I feel like I helped the customers enjoy their shopping experience.
Skills Used
I definitely had to show people skills more often than I normally would. You want to make the customer feel
acknowledged, like their not being ignored and like their shopping experience is actually welcomed so I feel
like by being a cashier I had to really demonstrate that. I love people and being around people, I especially
love helping people so having that sort of job was perfect form e.

Responsibilities
Everything you could think of. The owner pretty much had me running the store. I set up displays, retagged
clothing, greeted and assisted customers, ran the cashier, worked on the floor organizing the clothes.
Accomplishments
Having to work most sides of this job I definitely got to experience how much work it took. I had to put a lot of
energy into it from greeting and helping customers to setting up all the displays and keeping it neat.
Skills Used
People skills and organization skills were two that were definitely used more. I had to help more people than
I thought I'd ever help along with keeping the entire place up to par.
Sales Associate
Target - Van Nuys, CA - November 2011 to December 2011
Responsibilities
Zoning, keeping my area organized, helping customers as needed, stocking/restocking, go backs, etc.
Accomplishments
Organizing and being a perfectionist really brought me closer to the woman that was kind of my guide when
I first started working at Target. She always had to make sure every rack was a certain way and organized
perfectly so with that I definitely came in handy because I'm sort of a perfectionist in that way. I like everything
to be neat and tidy. If I see anything is messy I have it clean it up.
Skills Used
Definitely my people skills, my cleaning skills, and overall just having patience. It's a time consuming job- you're
on your feet for hours at a time, cleaning, doing displays, and helping people out as needed. You definitely
have to have patience.
Receptionist

Responsibilities
Answering phones, taking messages, contacting/getting ahold of people for my boss, computer work, mail,
and errand runs.
Accomplishments
As I've said, I'm a people person so answering phones/making phone calls was very easy for me to do. I feel
like with that job and other desk jobs it's not really easy to talk on the phone or make phone calls but for me,
I personally enjoy it. I love that part of the job.
Skills Used
I had to do computer work as well as phones, so with that I was able to demonstrate how well I work with
computer programs and various other projects I was informed to do on the computer.
